SATC Love

When you're young, your whole life is about the pursuit of fun, then you grow up and learn to be cautious; you could break a bone, or a heart. You look before you leap and sometimes you don't leap at all because there's not always someone there to catch you. And in life, there is no safety net. When did it stop being fun and start being scary?
-Sex & The City

For the record: I'd like to be young again and in pursuit of fun.

I would like to be young again too, but know all the things I do now! I think I have to find different ways to have fun now a days!

I couldn't aggree more.. I wish I was young in High School, I don't think I would change a THING!! I was so carefree, had so much fun.. And now it's like I'm scared, I think twice before doing things.. But I guess life goes by stages.. We passed that stage and now we have to make the best of the stage we are currently in.

I'm lucky to have survived my teens and my "leap without looking" attitude. Now that I'm in my mid [read: late] 20s, I still have plenty of fun, though I am more cautious, which isn't a bad thing.

Such a true statement.

This quote is so true, you don't always take advantage of that carefree-ness while you have a chance. I'm definitely more cautious and have more to consider on decisions I would have made on a whim in the past.

Some of the best quotes come from that show. That one & Grey's. (This was from the movie though, right? Trying to place it...)

Dawn: I'm unsure of which episode the quote came from or whether it's from the movie. I searched the internet high and low to no avail.

You know, now that I'm thinking about it, I wonder if it came from the episode when Carrie takes trapeze lessons...? That would tie into the "safety net" part.
