I think with scrapping, you can sell off your product when you're not feeling the "vibe" because let's face it: there's always new product out there if/when you want to get back in. Keep your tools though! Those a) come in handy for things not even related to scrapping and b) they are a lot more expensive to buy again.
I agree with Dawn... if you can grab the extra cash for the easily replaceable stuff - go for it. Keep those tools because they are expensive to replace. Who knows, a few years downt he road your mojo may come back.
