~I just recently finished TWO excellent books from this era and wanted to share them with you...
~The first one is The Kommandant's Girl
and the sequel and second book is The Diplomat's Wife
~They were both EXCELLENT books that I could hardly put down. Give them a try. You won't be dissapointed.

The holocaust was not taught in my high school. I learned about it as an adult. I was totally amazed that such a thing could happen when I first learned of it. Thank you for the recommendations.
I have got to get the Diplomat's Wife! Just need to finish reading "Scream Free Parenting" and "The Fire" and the six other books on my nightstand.

Thanks for the book recommendations! I'm studying for my MA comp exam, and my Goodreads "to-read" list is long, but I love reading books that are recommended by others because I would hate to miss out on a great book! Thanks again :-)
I'd come across "The Diplomat's Wife" before, in my local bookstore and considered reading it...
I never realised, however, that it was the sequel to "The Kommandant's Girl". Glad to know I should actually start out with that!
