*I have not been taking many pictures lately...that needs to change.
*I want to sign up E for tee-ball this Summer. Apparently I should have thought about this in January.
*The "main" city league is full...there are already 6 kids on the waitlist...why not start another team? Seems like an easy answer to me...more kids=more money for the city and avoids frustrated parents.
*Hoping to get him in a league in another city.
*I'm feeling like a bad mom because I missed the deadlines on this and I really want him signed up for SOMETHING.
* I was considering gymnastics but then heard all kids of negative things about The Little Gym as well as it costs a fortune.
*There is a privately owned gym in the next city over, it's a bit of a drive but I have a call into them to see when she holds the classes.
*I feel like such a mediocre mom at this point...what else am I messing up on? Surely there must be something...

I think as moms we always feel like it's our fault and the guilt is instilled in us the minute we see the 'positive' sign on that stick.
We never give ourselves credit and see the good we've done our kids.
Don't beat yourself up, i mean they could make a new team, it is that simple.
Awww, he is so cute, scraped up nose and all :)
Don't feel bad. Love is the most important thing your kid needs and I know you are giving him that. I too wonder if I should get my kid in a tumbling class or something but I think we will wait a little longer. Also, how would you have known about the time frame until you checked into it? Not your fault.
Good luck on your running plan. I was running a little bit more than a year ago but want to start again as my company is doing a 'day of service' and it is a 5k run/walk to benefit a charity. I would really like to be able to run it instead of walk but it's 2 1/2 months away so I don't know if I will be ready. We'll see!
Good luck and don't feel bad. Just know you are doing your best and that your best is good enough.
How about swim lessons?
He'll my boy is almost 19 and everyday I still have guilt about something I should have done differently. Oh well, he's happy and that's all that matters I guess. Don't be too hard on yourself.
If you are basing your mediocre mom status on the fact that you had no idea there'd be a waiting list for tee ball, or on the fact that you haven't taken too many pictures of him lately, I'm coming down there to slap you.
Seriously. I will even do it twice.
