~My Top 10 Favorite Things~

After yesterdays post, I thought I'd go for a much lighter (and meaningless) topic today...my top 10 favorite things (totally random, by the way).

1. Favorite Alcoholic Drink: Nutty Irishman (I typically don't drink, but when I do, I indulge in one or three of these)

2. Favorite Non-Alcoholic Drink: A tie between Diet Orange Big K Soda (from Kroger) and Starbucks Iced Chai.

3. Favorite Place to Visit: NYC

4. Favorite Breakfast Food: Sun Dried Tomato Bagel w/Light Plain Cream Cheese from Bruegger's or Einstein Brothers.

5. Favorite Vehicle: Jeep Wrangler (full doors, soft top). I still miss mine! :(

6. Favorite Fast Food Spot: Chick Fila (the Diet Dr. Pepper is soooo good there and their mints are awesome too)

7. Favorite Shoes: I prefer to wear athletic shoes, but rarely have the opportunity, unless I'm working out. Apart from athletic shoes, I love Merrells and flip flops the best.

8. Favorite Sport: baseball. I love everything about it and I hate when people tell me it's too "slow" to watch. Then they follow up with the fact that they think football is MORE fun to watch....um, last time I checked, football was really SLOW!!

9. Favorite Thing to do in my Free Time: This is a difficult one, but I guess I'll go with scrapbooking. I get a feeling of accomplishment from it when I finish a layout. I enjoy reading, but can never finish a book in one sitting, hence no feeling of accomplishment. Apparently, I'm a fan of instant gratification.

10. Favorite Snack/Junk Food: Salty snack fave is Sunchips, I love every flavor. As for something sweet, chocolate is my poison!

Wow, 42 posts for yesterday and none for today. It's interesting to see what will get people going.
I am definitely trying that Nutty Irishman. That is my kind of drink.

I thought your favorite non-alcoholic drinks were Diet Dr Pepper and Sunkist. Traitor!

Aww man, I HATE watching baseball but it's really fun to play for some reason. To each his own, though.

Baseball is even boring to comment aboutttttt zzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzz. But iced chai or the warm version can get me through watching anything. With the exception of CSI Las Vegas, Miami, Bakersfield, Tempe, and wherever else they are.

Hi Dear "Mommy of E"! (I more-often-than-not end up offending people with my intended Oh!-not-so-offensive statements)
This one's for your previous post...Good to know that you're gonna be sticking around in your marriage...I sometimes wish i could marry "Her" sooner than late, but owning an Audi and a house of my own is a few years away before i can ask "her" hand, feet, head, complete body-soul-spirit in marriage :)

And this one's for the current post.
Why don't you write a post titled "The 25 bizarre'est' and random'est' things about me."
I'm sure it's gonna be better hilarious! And possibly better than scrapbooking? :P(No offences...remember the bracketed remarks??)

Bless you!

That Nutty Irishman drink sounds incredible, I have got to try that sometime. I enjoy White Russians, which are another coffee-esque alcoholic drink, so I'm sure I'd love a Nutty Irishman!

You know, I never understood people being disparaging about baseball--or football for that matter. (Not that I think you were, just to clarify.) Football is about the ability to make split second adjustments & decisions. Baseball is about patience & trying to get inside the opponent's head to guess his next move so you can be prepared for it, while he is engaging you in the same game of cat & mouse. Football is very "in your face" while baseball is more subtle detail. They both involve strategy, just in very different environments. What I really hate is when people say one or the other is the "smart fan's sport." They both require a great deal of intelligence: In football, there are so many nuances to rules based on circumstances that it amazes me anyone on the field knows them all! In baseball, it only appears that nothing is happening at any given minute--unless you understand the game & realize that there are tons of things happening at all times; you just have to pay attention. And as for fast or slow? In my experience, they generally average out to taking the same amount of time to play a game--in football, it can take half an hour to play 2 minutes on the game clock or it can take 2 minutes exactly; in baseball, you can have a 4-pitch 6-minute top of the third and a 25-minute 8-run bottom of the third (and then you really hope you're the home team right? hee hee). Neither is boring unless you aren't a fan & that is just personal preference right? For me, watching paint dry is more exciting than sitting through a tennis match, a golf tournament or a basketball game. To each his own though!

Why yes, this *is* a Hot Button topic for me! LOL!

Chick-Fil-A = AMAZING.

It's definitely my favorite fast food restaurant too though I try not to eat there too often! It's probably best that there's not one in my hometown. I would eat there daily. Yes, daily.
