Musing Mondays

Musing Mondays post sponsored by Should Be Reading.

What do you do when life gets in the way, and you just don’t have much time to read? Do you complain? Do you accept it? Do you do everything in your power to make time to read? Share your thoughts!

Oh this is a big deal for me...I get a bit frustrated when I don't have at least a little time to read every day. Normally I do my reading at night in bed. Some nights I'm just exhausted and decide to go to sleep's a tough choice for me, but I know that I will be miserable the next day.

I feel like my reading time is my "treat" for the day...I rarely (never) get time to myself and reading is the only time I get for JUST ME and when it's "taken" from me, I struggle to accept it. My days are full and there is really no other time in my day to pull reading minutes from, though I do try....even during Ethan's crazy noisy TaeKwonDo class, I'll try to read a few pages...not the best environment, but beggars can't be choosers, right?

I read before bed too. I've also found that if I don't linger over eating my lunch, I can sneak in a few minutes before I have to get back to work.
