Happy Mother's Day

~25 calm & relaxing songs downloaded and ready to play.

~O will spend the night @ my mom's house.

~a quiet house.

~a little lavender aromatherapy room spray (for E and I) thrown in for good measure.

~tonight the weaning begins.

~wish me luck. i WILL need it.

~and please pray that E catches on quickly so this process is as short & painless as possible.

~I didn't realize that we would begin on Mother's Day. I guess it's my gift to myself, reclaiming my boobs. Yay me.

Ha! I was just thinking this morning, "What a Mother's Day she is giving to herself a screaming baby!" But that's a good way to put it. Are you putting him on the bottle cold turkey, or starting out at night first?

Just thought of something so came back.

If you've got lavender oil, rub a tiny bit on his earlobes because this has a calming effect. Might be best for both of you!

I remember having to wrap my boobage with an ace bandage to keep from leaking. I had become a human pacifer for long enough.

Good luck! It'll be worth it in the end.
