why weaning is such a challenge

I thought I'd post a pic of E and I on Mother's Day!! I've started my own tradition of taking a pic of us together on Mother's Day. I'm going to have to look in my archives for last years picture. (oh, great idea for a scrapbooking layout)

I don't comb his hair so nerdy funky like that. He was playing before we took this picture. I know it looks kind of hilarious funny.

So now you can see why letting him cry and cry and cry is SO NOT easy.

A couple shout-outs:
~Señorita Andalucíana - I love your blog but the COMMENTS function DOES NOT WORK. I have tried to leave you comments repeatedly. Boo! :(

~Bored Housewife - you rock. I *so* appreciate your comments. I wish you had a blog! If you do...it's not linked to your log-in name here @ Blogger.

~Thank you to all for your supportive and uplifting comments during this weaning process. I really do appreciate each and EVERY one of them.

Its a good they're cute, right? He'll be even cuter when he's sleeping soundly and nipple free in his own bed. This day will come, and it will be soon!

I do have a blog: boredhousewifesyndrome.blogspot.com

Keep it up, I read you every day!

Great picture!!! That will be really awesome if you do it until he's 50 or so! :)

Keep going with the weaning thing, he'll eventually be boob free and you'll both be super happy! It will all be worth it in the end!

I give the Baby Gap t-shirt two thumbs up. If we ever have kids they will wear only Gap clothes. And they will never spill on them.

...I obviously don't have kids yet.

I love bored housewife's comment "he'll be even cuter..." so true. You'll get there; stay strong and don't give in!!!

Every day it gets better. We've done our share of crying it out..so I can relate.

Yeah, he's pretty damn cute... I can see why it would be so awful to hear him cry like that!

Oh he is soooo cute and so are you, of course. What a great tradition to start, I never thought of that. Sweet!

It will get easier! Just keep it up and stay consistent! He is an adorable little boy. I just recently started to read your blog and get a kick out of it. I find a lot of similarities between you and I! Keep it up and I will keep reading and try my hardest to offer any advice!!!

Seriously, I wish I could share my gene that causes my heart to NOT break when my children cry.

Your picture is absolutely adorable!! As I don't have kids I can't say much but you're doing a great job. I can only imagine how hard it is.

Keep up the good work. You're a great mom!!
