~I'm back~

~My mini-vacation is over and unfortunately, it's time to get back to reality. :-(

~I have a lead-foot. I made the drive back in 6.5 hrs. Mapquest said it should be 7.25 hrs. HeeHee! (It took me 7 hrs on the way there.)

~I have a few pics to share...let's go back to Friday though...the Eddie Money concert...it was SOOOOO good. He was better than Night Ranger! Time had taken more toll on Night Ranger's voices than on Eddie's - he sounded as good as ever. He was hilarious too!

~The best part-he did pics and autographs after the concert....I got my picture taken w/him. Yay!!~The beach was fun -it was a bit cool in the mornings and quite windy, but I was able to get some sun-time in, so that's good. I set a goal to finish reading "Shopaholic Takes Manhattan", but I unfortunately fell just short. As much as I want to give up on the book, I'm determined to finish - I have about 100 pgs to go.
~I was excited to see one of my favorite restaurants there too - Margaritaville...if you have never set foot inside, I highly recommend it...even if you don't eat there.

~In closing, here's a pic of the beach - this was the view from our room. :-)

>~And so now it's back to reality... :-(

~Oh and I'm getting closer to sharing some rather big news...one of these days...soon...

Hmm, news. Either you're pregnant, trying to get pregnant (would you share that? that's something I wouldn't share, people would think of you having sex and ask you if you were pregnant all the time), moving, or getting divorced. Okay that last one was thrown in b/c I had somebody come in yesterday who's getting divorced, so it's on my mind. Hopefully it's 1 or 3.

It's true! About 1 1/2 years ago we ran into an ex-coworker and her hubby. She said they were trying to get pregnant, "hopefully we will be this month!" David was grossed out, and for the rest of the evening couldn't get the thought of them having sex from his mind. We ran into them last Friday at the grand opening of Wal-mart (ghetto!), and on the way home he asked, "Isn't she the one who was trying to get pregnant? Did she ever?" and she hasn't had kids. It's all he thinks now when he sees her.

I agree--I wouldn't tell people "I'm trying to get pregnant" - that's definitely TMI in my book.
